Extreme Makeover Home Edition

Are You Organized?, Inc. is proud to announce that they participated in an episode of ABC-TV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition filmed in Bridgeport, CT. The makeover was done for the Brown family, a single mom and her three children who were struck by tragedy to their home several times. Are You Organized?, Inc. donated organizational systems for all of the closets and the garage.

David Smith, President of Are You Organized?, Inc., was contacted and asked if he would be willing to participate in this project. He did not hesitate in saying yes. After that it was a non-stop whirlwind of activity with meetings, planning, preparing and the actual installation.

On the day of the installation they had to be there in the very early morning and they had a few hours to do what would normally take a full day or two. This, along with the fact that it was very hot with temperatures reaching ninety humid degrees, and there were hundreds of people around doing hundreds of things made the experience totally "extreme". They had four of their installation trucks loaded to capacity with the material. If it wasn't for the fact that they had all of their installers and design staff on board to help it would have been very difficult to complete. David was very proud of his staff and said, "They handled it with the precision and expertise they use on every other installation."
